Backlink: §2020-04-17-1608 Generating a list of links

Zetteldeft can generate lists of notes based on search terms, see §2020-04-17-1608.

THIS IS NOW MORE EASILY ACHIEVED WITH ORG DYNAMIC BLOCKS (§2022-09-21-2155)

To make updating these lists a little more convenient, you can do this from an Org source block in order to easily update the resulting list. This is what zetteldeft-list-links is for. It is meant to be called from an Org source block and will update the list of links (by hitting C-c C-c in it).

For an example , take a look at the following source block and the list it generates:

Neat huh?

To insert such a block, use zetteldeft-insert-list-links-block. It will prompt for a search string.

As an aside: we can use this function to generate a list of backlinks (i.e., link to notes that link to the current note). See §2020-08-29-1223 for details.
